QUALITY CONTROL

Our in-house fabrication process and our self-performing erection procedure have been certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).  Our certifications require an extensive quality control program and demonstrate the commitment by our team to deliver a quality product.

For more than 100 years, AISC has set the standard by which the steel industry is measured. An AISC Certified company has been placed through a rigorous examination to confirm that it has the personnel, organization, experience, procedures, knowledge, equipment, capability, and commitment to produce work of the required quality.

01

You get a company whose commitment to quality means subjecting themselves to an outside review.

02

You get a company that has been reviewed by an evaluator who has been in hundreds of structural steel fabrication plants.

03

And you get a company that is familiar with quality systems and has dedicated the resources to provide quality work.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?

SAFETY

As a leader in the structural steel fabrication & erection industry, Douglas Steel is committed to the assurance of safety. It is the responsibility of our safety department to provide and maintain the safest possible working conditions for all employees, with particular emphasis on team effort among our people.

Douglas Steel’s low experience modification ratio (EMR) demonstrates that Douglas Steel has developed programs to safely fabricate and erect structural steel. Pre-job site analysis, lift planning and erection stability analysis is an integral part of our job site operations.
