Mike Harsch is the President of Douglas Steel Fabricating Corporation, a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. He is responsible for overseeing the company operations in accordance with the strategic plans, coordinating all company activities and ensuring the company’s performance is achieved with exceptional customer satisfaction. Mike previously held the position of Vice President and Sales Manager. Mike has more than 35 years’ experience in the Steel industry working in various positions as Detailer, Detailing Manager, Estimator and Project Manager.
Rich Steffens is the Engineering Manager of Douglas Steel Fabricating Corporation and is a member of the Board of Directors. Rich began his career with the firm in 1992. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the engineering department including scheduling, establishing and monitoring connection design and framing methods to ensure compliance with AISC and project requirements. Rich has previously held the positions of Detailer and Engineering Job Captain.
Laurie Keener is the Controller of Douglas Steel Fabricating Corporation and is a member of the Board of Directors. Laurie joined the firm in 2007. She has over 30 years of construction accounting experience. She oversees all aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Job Cost, Payroll and HR Employee Benefits.
Charles Dunn is the Plant Superintendent of Douglas Steel Fabricating Corporation. He is a member of the Board of Directors. Charles joined the firm in 2007. He has the overall responsibility for all Shop Production, Scheduling and Personnel. He previously held the position as a Welder, Head of Maintenance, Shipping and Receiving Foreman and Assistant Plant Manager.
Carrie Colwell is the Sales Manager of Douglas Steel Fabricating Corporation and is a member of the Board of Directors. Carrie joined the firm in 2008. She is responsible for sales, estimating, marketing and business development. She previously held the role of Chief Engineer and Project Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Science, Civil and Environmental Engineering degree from the University of Michigan, and is a registered Engineer in the State of Michigan. Carrie is an active member of the Structural Engineers Association of Michigan (SEAMI), American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and Central Fabricators Association (CFA).
