Douglas Steel was contracted by Aims Group to detail, fabricate and erect 260 tons of structural steel for the 3-story 45,000SF project. Steel erection took place during late summer/early fall of 2013. Extensive engineering analysis was required to accommodate the relatively high end reactions provided by the engineer of record given the relatively small member sizes. Douglas Steel’s in-house engineering and connection design expertise enabled us to solve very complex connection problems.
